The current Eagle Standard logo

The Eagle Standard is a TWC publication that focuses primarily on the Total War aspect of the forum. Its many features include, interviews with modding teams, previews of up and coming modifications, TW fansite reviews, editorials, AAR submissions, AAR reviews, coverage of the various modding contests on the TWC, TW related announcements, modding tools spotlights, TW forum reports and monthly Picture of the Week round-ups.

The Eagle Standard is not to be confused with the Helios, which is another newspaper published every fortnight for TWC, but is primarily concerned with the happenings in the forum, as opposed to the Total War games.

The Eagle Standard releases a publication every month, and is currently on Volume VIII, Issue VII.

Here are the Content Writers for the Eagle Standard, poor saps that are somehow stuck with contributing one article at least with every publication. MorganH.: Editor in Chief of the publication. He has been with the Eagle Standard now for a long time and is greatly respected by the rest of the team. Major Darling: Major Darling is a writer for the Eagle Standard, heading up the Captains Cabin. He is also the Assistant Editor of the Eagle Standard. Juvenal: Juvenal heads up the Artists Gallery in the Eagle Standard. Capt. Fozdike: Capt. Fozdike is a writer for the Eagle Standard and has been a faithful member since joining. He currently is head of the Empire/Napoleon News and writes for several other sections including the Captains Cabin. ToonTotalWar: This Writer may be found in the Empire/Napoleon Section, happily writing away. Verruckt Verruckt is one of the new kids on the block for the ES. He writes for the Medieval 2 section. History The previous Eagle Standard logo The Eagle Standard publication on TWC was founded in March 2005.
