Consul of TWC

Badges/Roles:Consul,Citizen
Patron:King Athelstan
House:The Imperial House of Hader

Emperor Commodus is an elected Consul of the Curia, a Citizen and a strange person.

General History

"A very muddled series of events." Personality wise he is sporadic, fairly high strung, very wordy (big wordy at that), occasionally impervious to attempts at humor and difficult to tell either way if he 'got it' sometimes. Has a bit of a combative record and personality.

"Shut up and do your work" is a thing he'd like to do more often, particularly having achieved a position with the responsibility to do just that.

Pretty telling when he wrote this section in chronological order, then flipped the dates so you have to go down to start, then back up to actually start and go down, then back up to read the next thing...

May 2021

  • Exists. Hey, baby steps.

2017-2021

  • Began anew in the Hotseat section upon prodding from Jadli.
    • Steadily realized he wasn't a very good hotseater. At all.
    • Did create a single hotseat that somehow lasted years.
    • Vaguely involved in the breakdown and reformation of Hotseat leadership.
  • Showed up in the Writing Center one cold day.
    • Won a few Tales of the Week.
    • Spent most of his time commenting.
  • Took on the Librarian and Wiki Team ranks.
    • Resigned them shortly after.
    • Unsuccessfully attempted to join the Modding Staff.
    • Is still slightly salty about the Modding Staff.
  • Frequented the Curial Commentary Thread.
    • Became a Citizen on somewhat flimsy grounds.
    • Come on Gig, what did Steam activity have to do with it?
    • Achieved most rep through walls of text exchanges with a prominent, if controversial Curialist.
  • Did some wiki stuff, most of it outside of Wiki Team. Was branded with a wiki contributions badge.
    • Made a twc-like wiki skin that was completely non-responsive, but the owner liked it.
    • Apparently had a bit of a ripple effect for Structural Change. Nice.
  • Wrote some hard-to-read blogs reflecting state of mind, which was mostly negative.
    • Would rather pitch both those blogs and the award that snuck in with them, frankly.
  • Co-staffed the Discord Staff.
    • Resigned shortly after.
  • Had a Hyrule Total War fetish. Rebranded to explore it.
    • Realized that was stupid, soft quit.
    • Created an account with an incremented name.
    • Well that was stupid. Axed it, returned to and repaired original.
    • Got a bit depressed, dumped the original went back to 2015 alias.
    • Relaxed a bit, then wanted to go to the Scriptorium team. Well no shit, random account out of nowhere got 'no, sorry'.
    • Muddled around a bit with old habits, pitched a Modding Vault idea. Ghosted. Camped on the idea for lone wolfing later.
  • Returned to name and title, still meandering.
    • Craved doing something right for the first time in the long list of negligible one-liners.
    • Took on an election expecting 'eh'.
    • Goddammit, somehow actually won.

2015

Made an account and forgot about it. Derp.
