The Modding SpotlightThird Age: Total WarThird Age: Total War is a Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms total conversation about the conflicts in Middle-earth at the end of the Third Age. Play in a relentless war of Good against Evil and fight for domination over your enemies - free the people of Middle-earth or enslave them! Lead the heavily armoured Gondorian knights into battle, take your axe and fight with the Dwarves to regain their homelands, or serve the Dark Lord Sauron and surpress any foes with the sheer mass of your servants! The mod features a extensive historically accurate map of Middle-earth as it was in the Third Age, including 114 settlements taken straight from Middle-earth lore and completed with several fictional locations as well as famous places like the Black Gate, Minas Tirith and many more. The units have been created with lovely detail, and will make every battle seem like a sequel to the famous Lord of the Rings movie triology. A new campaign, battle AI and unit recruitment based on a cultural level as well as regional recruitment will make the player's life much harder. Play with all important factions of the Third Age, including Gondor, Rohan, High and Silvan Elves, Dwarves, Eriador, Dale, Isengard, Mordor, Rhun, Harad and the Orcs of the Misty Mountains, each with it's own strenghts and weaknesses. Finally a completely new look of the game, featuring almost complete rework of the 2D and 3D design, tons of new sounds and of course the Lord of the Rings movie soundtrack will create a breathtaking game experience for the player. This modification comes with an installer and is completely mod-foldered. Look at the Screenshots... What are you waiting for? DOWNLOAD IT! |
