• For answers to questions not covered here, feel free to reach out! We're happy to help and common questions can be added in.

We recommend, roughly in order, to reach TWC staff for issues:

• The [NEWLINK Questions and Suggestions] forum, for general and public questions that can be replied to by fellow members and staff
• The official email, forumTemplate:@twcenter.net, best for more sensitive communications or things that need to be asked while not logged in
• TWC Discord where you can meet staff and members and is good for informal chatter and quick questions

TWC values feedback and contributions: we are only here because of volunteers from the community, maybe you? If there is something that could be improved, please get in touch.

This page is being actively drafted. Except for areas defined as staff policy (and even these if you're up to speed and check with the administration), you are welcome to add in at any time, especially for how to do stuff in the Xenforo software. Appropriate questions and info can be pasted tactfully from TWC:FAQ with a focus on keep it simple and most useful.

What's Changed FAQ (vBulletin to Xenforo)

As of May 2025 (date pending), the layout and organization of the site has changed very massively. If something important is not covered, please let us know.

TWC Features

A rundown of features to make the most of TWC!

Forum Features

Will need to be built up from scratch pretty much. I'd like to consolidate stuff down like rep and simply not include more technical stuff like lists of post titles and ranks, or direct to appropriate wiki pages. Descriptions of bling etc I'd also like to not take way too much space: at most that might be one header and several entries that summarize what we end up with on the new forum since the layout here will be heavily tweaked.

TWC Wiki

Bump TWC Wiki to sit in a prominent spot instead of detached. Might be able to copy most of it over as it is, but wiki strategy will need to be tweaked...

Blogging on TWC

TBD based on the blogging feature we end up with.

I would like to delete my account

On TWC accounts cannot be fully deleted. We can strip the profile of identifying information, rename it to something random, anonymize the email, and disable it so it cannot be logged into again. Select posts can be removed especially if they give sensitive information, however we do not have tools to conveniently purge post histories. And doing so would disrupt threads and take considerable time to process. For hardly used accounts this is more feasible. To submit a request like this, please use the contact form or message an administrator while logged in, or email the forum (forumTemplate:@twcenter.net) from the account's registered email.

Modding on TWC

Will need to be rebuilt given a greater interest in promoting the wiki and reducing how many forums and usergroups we're processing.

Volunteering & Citizenship

Needs to be rewritten for current and evolving states of staff and citizenship.
