Historical Background
Start Position
The Liu Clan starts in Xiangyang Commandery. It's starting leader is Liu Biao. Huang Zhong also starts as part of it. Huang Zu and Cai Mao start out as its vassals.
The family tree consists of Liu Biao, his wife Lady Cai, his sons Liu Qi and Liu Cong, and his daughter Liu Min. Their family tree is connected to that of his brother in law Cai Mao.
Unique Mechanic
Three unique court positions (Student, Tutor, Scholar) that increase experience gain for the assigned characters and all other faction characters.

Initial Dilemma
The Liu Clan's dilemma starts when Yuan Shao secretly send him a message to take the Imperial Seal back from Sun Jian.
- Do you accept Yuan Shao’s request and attack Sun Jian, which will trigger a war against Sun Jian and Yuan Shu?
- Or do you ignore Yuan Shao’s request and angering the warlord in the north?
