The Total War Center's Content Staff is responsible for producing articles of all types and providing valuable services for the site. It has several different roles, although what Content can offer depends on available volunteers.

Overview

Content Staff oversee different things depending on what they are interested in. Some Content Staff work alone, and others in teams. The current list of Staff:


Content is overseen by the Content Hex, an administrator, who can also be called the overall Content Director.

Reasons to Join

Joining the Content Staff on TWC provides members;

  • The opportunity to learn and to grow as a person.
  • The opportunity to work along with other great mates, with the hope to develop/improve skills such as teamwork and reciprocal support.
  • The opportunity to support the whole TWC community.
  • The opportunity to gain reputation and medals as a reward for your work in the Staff.

Content Roles

Content Directors currently supervise the entirety of Content. They consist of the Content Hex by default; an assisting Director may also be brought on, or larger teams may have their own director.

News Team

The News Team posts front page announcements and tweets (social media managers are effectively News Team members). They keep an eye on the forums and report on events of interest, and may also reach out and get news from across the modding and general Total War community.

Wiki Team

The Wiki Team expands, organizes and updates the TWC Wiki and encourages TWC members to participate in editing the Wiki.

This is run by the Content Hex in absence of dedicated staff.

Inactive Roles

Writers' Study and Critic's Quill

The Writers' Study contains local moderators who supervise the Writers' Study, may run related competitions, and may also write for the Critic's Quill publication.

Librarians oversee The Scriptorium, a repository of TWC's finest content from its members. They discuss the functioning of the Library, find new articles for its inclusion and administer the Scriptorium Writing Competitions.
