The Sun Clan of Wu is one of the playable factions in Total War: Three Kingdoms. It is one of the 11 immediately playable in the base game, with no achievement or DLC requirements.

Historical Background

Start Position

The Sun Clan starts in Changsha Commandery. It's starting leader is Sun Jian. Cheng Pu, Huang Gai, and Lu Su also start as part of it.

The living family tree consists of Sun Jian, his wife Lady Wu, his sons Sun Ce and Sun Quan, and his daughter Sun Ren.

Heroism - A resource the Sun Clan can accumulate to increase replenishment.

Initial Dilemma

The Sun Clan's dilemma revolves around the much-coveted Imperial Seal in an incident where Liu Biao requests the Imperial Seal from you.

  1. Do you accept his request, losing the seal and improving your relations with him?
  2. Or do you decline, pushing your alignment more towards Yuan Shu, making him an ally and Liu Biao an enemy?
