Strategy guides

Possible strategy with Greece is to abandon Syracuse at the beginning of game and concentrate on Macedon. When Macedon are driven from Greece it is possible to build your military and challenge the Brutii and Rome.

History

Greece was firstly only consisted of few Greek city-states. They became powerful because Alexander the Great ( born 346BC) led them to conquer much of the then known world. Greek architecture and art were famous. There are few places in world that haven't felt them and their influence. After the death of Alexander the Great his kingdom became separated states including: Greek cities, Thrace , Macedon , Seleucid Empire , Egypt , Pontus and Armenia. All of these countries were ruled by his successors, but none of them were powerful enough to keep his empire together.
