Hannover controls a fairly wealthy home region and is bordered by Prussia to the east, the Netherlands to the west, Denmark to the north, Westphalia to the south-west, and Bavaria to the south. Unusually for a minor nation, Hannover is a strongly protestant nation. Hannover has good relations with other protestant factions such as Prussia, the United Provinces, and especially Great Britain, with whom it shares a historical friendship.
