Starting Position
Genoa starts with two territories, the island of Corsica and a territory in Northern Italy. It is bordered by Savoy to the west, the Italian States to the east, and Spain (via Lombardy) to the north.
Genoa will more likely than not come into eventual conflict with France, who desires Corsica. Genoa rarely expands, although (like other European minor nations) it tends to build up large armies to defend itself with.
