The Swiss Confederation was one of a number of cancelled factions from Empire: Total War.
Overview
The faction's starting position would have been in the alpine region of Europe, however, along with the faction's cancellation the region was also removed and replaced by 'wilderness'. Evidence to support that the faction was dropped last minute can be seen by the faction flag and unit roster which contains several unique units.
Other factors are not known, for example religion, as the Old Swiss Confederation was a mixture of protestant and catholic 'cantons' which led to several internal conflicts over it's history.
