Overview
Bavaria is a Catholic state in south Germany that can provide some early challenge for Prussian players as the large city of Munich allows Bavaria to recruit faster then most of the other German states. Bavaria is also a strategically important territory as it contains a northern pass into Italy although using it requires crossing the Austria province. Bavaria itself is a rich province with a university, making it a potential target for any power in that region. Bavaria can make a good ally and/or protectorate for Catholic countries such as France and Austria. On the flip side, Bavaria can prove troublesome and even deadly for its enemies.
