The Khanate of Khiva is a cancelled minor faction in Empire: Total War.
Overview
If kept in the game, the faction would have originated in the area between the Caspian and Aral seas. In the present Grand Campaign, this area is a desert region, referred to as the Kara-Kum, and is impassable. While it cannot be played in the grand campaign without making major modifications to the game, it can be unlocked relatively easily for usage in custom battles.
