Tuscany is a cancelled minor faction in Empire: Total War.
Overview
If kept in the game, Tuscany would have most likely been located in central Italy. Sandwiched between the Italian States in the south and Genoa and Spain (which controls Milan) in the north. With the current province of 'Central Italy' likely having originally been intended to be two provinces. Located in the heartland of Italy and bordering the lands of the Pope, the state religion of Tuscany would have certainly been Catholic.
While it cannot be used in the Grand Campaign, like the other cancelled factions, it can be used in custom battles through modding.
