User Badges

Overview

Badges are used to quickly identify Staff or various forms of Citizen on Total War Center. More rarely seen are the badges of Curial Officers. The site has a long history with its badges, dating back to the beginning of the site and appearing in different designs as the site has changed. Redesigns often corroborated with a site theme or recent game release, though this practice has slipped in recent years.

Users are also distinguished by the color of their name, and additional badges or roles can be seen below the primary badge they identify as (unless they choose none, in which case only the group names are seen). Users who are moderators or administrators are always primarily identified by those badges, otherwise users have agency how to display their groups.
