PLATFORM: Mods are normally made for a specific and primary platform such as BI 1.6 but may also be compatible with other platforms. Please check the revelant forums to see if a mod has another version available for a different platform. Those known to have more than one official platform are indicated by the (*) after the name in the table below; those listed with another specific platform in place of the asterisk indicate that the same official build can run off of more than one exe.
TYPE: HISTORIC - Mod based on a period of earth history
TYPE: FANTASY - Mod based on either a known work of fiction (book or movie) or upon self-created world
TYPE: MYTHIC - Mod based on myth, folklore or possibly legend
TYPE: RELIGIOUS - Mod based on a scriptural reference or period which may have no identifiable historical period/setting
TYPE: UNIT SAMPLER - Mod consists of samplings of units from other mods for the purpose of show-casing said mods

Note: "Minor" released modifications are classified by not having their own section in the Hosted Modifications of Total War Center or The Org, though some notable mods may be moved to Major. This does characterize the amount of changes the modification makes to the game as minor, it just means it isn't a prolific modification, and is therefore designated in a separate table so as not to make it harder to navigate the larger modifications. Due to the nature of a large portion of the mods in this section, the column Stability has been added so an idea of how stable the released version is can be determined.

STABILITY: STABLE - This mod is stable, and there shouldn't be any large occurrences of errors
STABILITY: SUPPORTED - This mod is known to have some issues, but it supported by the author/team, so issues might still be resolved.
STABILITY: BUGGED - This mod is known to have issues, and is not supported by the author/team, so issues will persist.
STABILITY: WORK IN PROGRESS - This mod is not a mod in the finished sense, it is a release of work that can be used by others in their mod.
